I am so so happy I got these Dior sling backs for Valentines Day when I was in New York. I definitely needed a new pair because it’s basically all I wear for the marathon that is Fashion Month. I do want to try to wear sneakers more during these times but for some reason I always go for the heels instead, hehe. My feet are completely destroyed to the point were I didn’t even recognize them so now finally back at home in London I spent 2 hours at the salon sorting them out so now they at least look decent again. Another colourful little investment I made this season was this pink bag from Jacquemus. It’s actually very affordable but such a cute little trend piece to wear for S/S. Highly recommend it, it looks stunning in person! Unfortunately I highly believe it’s sold out already but might come back in stock though! Wore it with this amazing skirt via Revolve who I worked a little bit with alongside FWRD this fashion month.
Jacket/Dress from Galia Lahav, Shoes from Balenciaga, Bag from Hermes, Denim from NAK-D, Sunglasses from Elizabeth and James here
Fashion month has started and NYFW is first out. It has been colder and rainier than I imagined but it’s okay for just stepping in and out of a car from show to show. But I haven’t really done much New York city life, exploring and just walking around which I usually love doing here the rest of the year! Today I had a full day off with no specific shows but I ended up just staying in doors working all day because it was so rainy. This outfit how ever I managed to wear on a sunny morning. It started raining again in the afternoon, I mean, what is this, London? 😉 Any way I adore these Balenciaga boots they are so comfortable and the Galia Lahav dress/jacket is the softest leather ever but still super thick which makes it perfect for winter!
More from NYFW! I know I’m a bit slow with the update here loves. I have just been feeling completely uninspired with blogging lately so my other channels like Instagram and especially YouTube has taken over for me completely. I think it’s like that with everything that you have been doing for a really long time. Even if something is extremely fun when doing it as a profession for too long everything just feels like boring work. I have been blogging for over 10 years now. I envy other bloggers that still have the same passion for it but I just don’t feel it at the moment. I personally don’t read blogs myself and much more prefer YouTube. If I visit a blog it’s mostly just to look at pictures and see what friends and colleagues are doing. So I have been taken some time now to reevaluate what I want to do here on the blog for you guys but also for me to personally feel that it’s fun and something I enjoy doing. Mostly I want to be proud of my blog, how it looks and what I do. Now it’s like the last thing I would ever present to a client or talk about. And it shouldn’t be like that. I owe you guys who has been following me since the start my whole career! So let’s do something fun here. I will have a re-launch of my blog in the beginning of May and I hope you’ll bare with me until then! Lots of Love, J 😉
